poems for deceased dad

Poets have been writing about love and marriage for centuries. It is a continual balance of you and your partner's needs.

A well written poem will capture the heart and imagination of your readers. If you were very close to the person who died and you are expected to stand up in church or at the graveside to recite a poem, make sure that you have a supporter. If you are not normally the type of person who gives out poems, this is something that will truly be unexpected.

Look for a focal point or make eye contact with someone who can provide that extra strength you need. Also, I could care less whether it s a proper poem from a poetry perspective. Just like when our loved ones are at home with us and spend time in our living room.

A lovely memento to keep over the years is a poem. For more tips and techniques on composing poetry, look around the net.
