Most of the greatest poets were not recognized for their work until they had long been laid to rest. Often your emotions are so stirred up that it can be very difficult to come up with words of condolence for those that need them.
Letting your feelings out will make you feel good about yourself. An important factor, be truthful and sincere, speak from your heart. So how can you write a poem that truly expounds what you want to say?
It can be an expression of love, or encourage you to relax and be at peace. Make it rhyme if you want, but don t think too much about it or you won t be able to write it. Normally, the language of a love poem is simply flattering, and sometimes exaggerated, too.
Find funny poems about marriage and love and include those for a laugh or two. If you are giving it to read, put in a love card.
