funeral poems

I think most people writing poetry or writing about poetry, has their own concept of what should be, what shouldn t be, what is, what is not: you know, our own little world of poetry. Each person develops their own personality and character as they go through life; this is what makes the person so special and unique.

Keep your speech, toasts and poems at weddings funny, short and sweet and remember to have fun. Simple and soothing words acknowledging a loss, accompanied by a meaningful sympathy or condolence poem can touch a heart like nothing else can. Spiritual poetry can try to point out some particular truth.

The ceremony is a perfect time to share your love by reciting an enduring love poem. Writing about a person who is no longer alive is very difficult and writing about their death is worse. Poems can also help to understand how your partner feels about the relationship.

Forget all that stuff you learned in school and just write. This is a fun way to get everybody in the mood to celebrate.
